Deck Bright - 100% Pure Oxalic Acid Crystals is meant for neutralizing and brightening wood surfaces after cleaning or stripping.

Oxalic acid is great to use on soft or hardwood decks, fences, patios, siding or any other wood installation.

TW Deck Bright can act as a cleaner on its own and even remove iron staining from wood surfaces.

We highly recommend using oxalic acid after cleaning or stripping a deck. Oxalic acid also balances the pH in the wood and lifts the tannins of the wood in preparation for staining.

Directions

  • TW Deck bright is intended for use on all soft and hardwood decks, fences, patios and other wood installations. Always wear proper protective equipment when using, mixing, applying, or otherwise handling this product. Always do a test spot with this product in an out of the way area prior to full application.

-Thoroughly wet the surface to be treated prior to application.

-Mix 4-8 ounces of TW Deck Bright per gallon of warm water.

-Apply using a sprayer, brush, or applicator and always from the bottom up on vertical surfaces.

-Allow 5-15 minutes for solution to dwell, or once surface has been adequately brightened, thoroughly rinse the surface working from the top down on vertical surfaces.

  • Make sure to use solution within 24 hours of mixing. DO NOT allow solution to dry on any surfaces. Always protect surrounding surfaces and landscaping by wetting prior to applying solution and after solution has been applied. DO NOT mix chemicals.

Sodium metasilicate and oxalic acid

have a home in Katy, Texas and my cedar fence is about 11 years old. We have very hot, and humid summers here. When I installed the fence, I did not apply a protective coating.. It was looking pretty bad and I wanted to see if I could improve the appearance. As you can see in the pictures, this stuff works great!
The folks at triple wide are very knowledgeable and courteous.
